Where am I?

You’re at the mouth of a den. This is an interactive, interstitial, interconnected interior-internet of interrogations, interventions, interpolations and (intermittently interesting) intersectional interdisciplinary interjections.

…Really?

OK, this is a wiki-blog ****belonging to an amateur musician, artist, programmer and computer science teacher. All growls, scratch marks, roars and strands are sheddings from the Mane, but are made freely available to you (if you’re a person), for whatever value you can glean. The den is not a portfolio or a CV because that would make it a museum or somewhere else respectable and dusty. The den and its contents are part of the wilderness; everything inside is alive or rotting.

What can I find in here?

You might find: rough and ragged fragments of music, video and artwork; software development diaries and applets; reflections from the frontlines of computer science pedagogy and andragogy; thoughts on community building, tinkering, poetry, film, queerness and climate change; or all these things combined, alongside anything else keeping me awake at night (for better or worse).

You might not find: consistency, accessibility, good sense, or much effort to maintain your interest. Please remember this is my den, but you are very welcome to explore.

How can I get around?

Most pages are full of hyperlinks and things to click on and mess with. As such, you might get quite lost as you wander around. Follow the breadcrumbs in the header back to the mouth of the den to get some air.

For now, you can use these top-level links to orient yourself and begin your journey:

How does it all work?

The den is built using Notion and Fruition. Some processes are automated using Nautomate and Shortery. The site is a way to project manage myself, and is itself a constant work-in-progress. Pages are extensively hyperlinked, with data flowing freely between seemingly incongruous places. If you come across anything silly, wrong, or just a bit stupid, please try to have a nice time regardless.
